Does the O2 you are getting have the right regulator (7-14 liters p.minute) and do you use a non-rebreather mask?
Oxygen is often distributed at flows suitable for lung patients or with maskes that allow you to rebreath exhaled air.
I myself am female, use Verapamil to prevent attacks and o2 to cut them and that works very well.
