I believe Q may have confused ounces with grams, or something along those lines. Four or five ounces of mushrooms will make you high as a kite for several hours. Even veteran trippers would consider it a megadose!
If you collected psilocybe semilanceata (Liberty Cap), then an effective dose would be about half an ounce or so of fresh (not dried) mushrooms. If you collected psilocybe cubensis, you will need about three-quarters of an ounce.
