I chose to quit the nasty habit many years ago and yet my wife continues. She use to respect my space and only smoke outside of the house, (this too shall pass)now she smokes us out of the house!
Like all addictive habits, first and foremost the addictee must want to end the habit, You have to redirrect the habit into another addiction and stick out the adjustment period. I used Jelly Beans to replace them and only gained a little weight. It's a wonderful feeling when you can look back as see how much in the way of taste's and smelling ability that you have regained.
It never slowed the CH pattern down at all!
After 13 years of being on V.A. Disability I'm being reviewed this Friday, I haven't been going to a Doctor for the CH's for a long time so I have no new evidence of my continuing problem,
I am as nervous as a cat, trapped in the dog pound! I haven't worked in so long that I don't know what I would do if they take my income away?
Oh well one set back at a time! Pappy
