Thanks for this great site..!! Didn't expect to find a special site this big.
My name is Bas Ditmars, I'm 25 yrs. old and live in Holland. Since I were 8 yrs. I'm "blessed" to have the beast (?).
Tried several medicins, but the only thing that seems to work, is Imigran injector (6 mg). When the beast arrives, I have to inject myself and within 10 minutes the beast has gone to sleep. The only thing that bothers me, is when I use the injectorthe beast awakes the next day even harder !!
I'm not aware of any triggers, for example alcohol or cheese, but what I do know, is when I'm in a lot of stress or I didn't sleep well, that the beast CAN arrive !
Once I used VERAPAMIL as a medicin to prevent the beast for waking up, but that was a trigger. So now I use SANDOMIGRAN to prevent the beast for waking up.
I'm having the chronic version of this sickness, which means that everyday the beast arrives and mess my life up.
BUT... I have very understanding collegues, so I can take my time and when I have to stay at home, nobody's making a problem.
Enough about me.... I want to thank the persons who created this site and KUTGW (keep up the good work).
