We had the same fight with our insurance co. Keep writing and calling the company. They need to know that oxygen use for clusters is totally different and the blood gas levels have no bearing in your case. Our insurance wasn't going to pay for the oxygen unless Larry had the blood gas tests. I explained to them that it wasn't necessary and why and that subjecting Larry to unnecessary tests was only going to cost the company more money. I also contacted our agent and filled him in on the whole scenario. He went to bat on our behalf too. Eventually the ins. co. did pay for the oxygen and quit hasseling us.
