The only use of oxygen the bean counters usually know is for respiratory diseases. In order to save money, they require periodic blood tests to assess the success of the treatment.
However, in our case, oxygen use has nothing to do with a long-term therapy and any oxygen level test makes no sense at all.
We use oxygen as an abortive medication, the same as Imitrex injections. It might be helpful to mention the cost of oxygen vs. Imitrex :-)
