Interesting experience. I just got back from a video convention in AC. I probably met and talked to about a thousand people over the five days. I was walking the show floor one morning and stopped by the Good Humor booth. They were giving out ice cream samples to retailers. (After two days of customers walking in OUR booth with ice cream bars, I couldn't resist) As I was leaning down into one of the freezers, a man next to me said "God, I wish I could just stick my head in there" I asked him why, assuming he was hungover...a common ailment at trade shows. He told me "I get bad headaches" I looked right at him, saw "that face" and said "You have clusters, don't you?" He asked me how I knew that. The next fifteen minutes were spent talking. He's had them for 15 years and was in the middle of an episode. We were talking about what a total BITCH it is to be in an episode in the middle of Atlantic City of all places...flashing lights and perfume and cigars and all those damn slot machines clanging all the time. After we talked, this total stranger gave me a HUGE hug. I'm not a fate or "vibe" person...but I can't help but feel we connected for a reason.
His name is Peter and I told him about the board. I hope we'll see him here. He's going through some heavy personal stuff and I'll leave it at that in case he comes to visit us. And Peter, if you happen to read my post...try coming here...they won't bite.
