Hi Mariah,
I agree with Riccardo and Charlie. Is it migraine or CH. Take the test; it's on the left sidebar. And yes, I've heard of ER visits for severe migraine, the unfortunate sufferer would get slammed so badly that a narco IV was the only thing that would bring relief but it was classical migraine. Auora, dark room, lie still: not like CH where you can't be still, pace a lot, scream sometimes, bang your head.... I went for some 35 years being misdiagnosed (migraine, tension, dental, you name it). Even after I self-diagnosed with the help of an NHF newsletter and took that info to a doc, he said "migraine", scripted me for beta blockers and made the situation worse. I finally found a neuro that had heard of CH (yeah, imagine that. Even today many in the medical profession are still clueless) and got a script for O2. It works for me almost every time and sure beats the side effects of some of the drugs that many of my fellow sufferers are taking. BUT, O2 MUST be used correctly. Please post again or email me after you have taken the test. If it's CH, this is the place, if not, headachesupportgroups.com is definetly better. Best of luck.
