There are metatags that are specific instructions to the search engines. One pair of these tags indicates sections of a html document to skip. These pairs of tags work like a toggle, on/off.
My suggestion would be to surround the name portion of the html page with these on/off tags to eliminate the issue of having a person's name show up in a search engine database.
My suggestion to others is to use a handle. I use "Q" on this message board specifically for this reason: to avoid having my common name show up in the search engines.
While we are on the subject, you might want to do a search on your e-mail address. Many search engines will index e-mail addresses.
