I also wasn't told until after I asked about my hair falling out and I read the insert on my own and then inquired my neuro. I gained 55 pounds from the vepramil and that was after losing 75 pounds 3 years earlier and keeping it off sucessfully I might add. It stunk! I have found the vepramil makes me very short of breath. At 600 mg It gave me an irregular heart beat. At 480 mg. I am short of breath. It is hard for me to stand for long/short periods of time, shop much less exersize. I have a week feeling from it. I have told the neuro I want my topamax upped and the vepramil decreased or stopped. All I got was a "we'll see". If It is possible, I know he will listen and do it. Sorry to hear you are having a hard time on this medicine but can relate completly to what you are saying. Good luck! Karla
