Take a look on the web for an article by a Mr. Gottleib regarding bulk cultivation and subsequent extraction of the psychoactive principles. His method uses Methanol so it is NOT for the chemically inept but it does produce a constant and substantial supply of the pricipal ingrediants. This is an old article, probably written in the early 70s. In any event, you end up with a purple crust on your glassware which is then powdered and placed into capsules. The stuff IS both light and heat sensitive but not unduly so. One of the main advantages of doing this is the standardization of dosage. I have read articles claiming that the amount of active principle not only varies from plant-to-plant, but within the plant as well, ie. stem-to-cap. In any event, it's something that might interest you.
