I too have had this pain for 10 years and it is getting worse. I just recently moved and went to an internist here concerning this. I know how you feel. I havd days (like today) that I am just incapacitated and just wish I could scream. It makes me nauseous at times and I just want to be left alone. He said that I must have surgery (by someone he has faith in) or I will only continue to get worse and will not have any life at all. I never know from one day to the next how I am going to feel. I am on 2700 mgs of neurontin a day which has seemed to help just a bit, but I just feel like I can't go on forever. I need some help here too!
