Jennifer:
Can't say what triggered nor ended this bout. Usually humidity in the summer. The one's in the winter? I wish I knew. There is an old theory about histamine. Tried taking anti-histamines though it is said that this can actually cause headaches!! Seemed to help some. I suspect they helped because clusters usually cause nasal congestion though during an attack my nose runs. It's almost like an allergic reaction. Also noticed that 2 or 3 good sneezes during an attack lessen the severity or indicate that the end is near. I think a lot of times when there's one lurking behind my eye waiting to show itself it can be as simple as a strong cold wind that brings about the next headache or humidity or...?
