I watch this board for things I haven't heard of or tried before. There is never much new but it's interesting how some people think they have found the/an answer.
The discussion about dairy products is not new but not using dairy products may work for some. My brother also has clusters and feels that milk affects him. Milk is one of the few things I can drink during clusters. If it bothered me, I would be dead by now. It would be hard for two people to be more alike than my brother and I but there are other differences in our disease.
That's what is so frustrating about clusters and I'm sure is a major problem for researchers. People with the same disease are different and different things work and don't work.
That's what upsets me a little when I see post from self-proclaimed experts who always seem to have the total answer and demand that we all go the same way. I always hope that they are right, but none so far have been.
As my doctor stated. Each of us are not only different but we change a little every day and certainly every year. Our body is not the same this year as last, therefore what worked this year may not next year and vis versa.
I read all the time about people taking a drug that I tried 10 years ago that didn't work for me, but maybe it would now.
My attitude is, I'll try almost anything and I'll try it twice. At least there is hope. That may be all we have; hope and prayer.
