There have been a lot of really upsetting posts to the board recently. I'm pretty pissed, and I have a strong opinion, so here it is:
Look, folks, this is the Internet. This is the real world, just like a New York City street corner. People can really get hurt here. There are all kinds of people coming and going, most of them are o.k., some are assholes, some are mentally ill, and some are really dangerous.
Before you respond to a post, ask yourself one question. Does this person have cluster headaches? Can I help them with cluster headaches?
If the answer is no, DON'T GET BAITED. You have no idea who you may be dealing with. Just leave the post alone.
I don't mean to say that we can't have our fun on the board - nor do I mean to say that a CH'er can't lose it and vent their spleen and still feel like one of the family. The test is this: does the poster have CH? If not, and the second your INSTINCTS tell you they do not, QUIT RESPONDING TO THEIR POSTS.
The more we bait unstable people, the greater the chance some good people will get hurt. You may feel like "OK, bring 'em on", but think, the 'bullet' may strike someone else, not you. Act responsibly.
