Sorry to read of yet another sufferer. Your MDs sound as though they are on the right track but make certain they understand the level of pain. If your husband is like me, he wants to be alone in a cool dark room during an attack. I was helped by a biofeedback technique that can be described best as "thinking" about forcing blood-flow away from your head, down your arms and into your hands. If you can make your hands feel warmer, you should have a little success. Think of it as keeping blood away from your skull. I don't know exactly what takes place with this technique, but I was often able to halve the duration of these attacks and sometimes ease the pain. Give it a try but don't stop the meds and let your doctors know everything you do. All the best to you and your family.- - -Charlie
