This can't hurt, give it a try: These are vascular in nature and I was taught to "redirect" my bloodflow from behind my eye, down my neck and into my arms and hands. As the hand warms, the throbbing decreased in varying degrees. Sometimes I could entirely abort the attack if awake. Almost always, I could ease the pain. It takes intense concentraion and is far from a cure but I could often halve the duration of these things and ease the pain with this. Try to "feel" your hand warm with blood drawn down your neck from your throbbing skull and you should have some success. Dr. Wright said to think of "filling" your hand with blood. It's a good way to describe what I do. It can be exhausting and it sounds nuts but at the time it was all I had. Later I had luck with inderal. This thing is non-invasive and if you keep at it, it will help. I hope this can help-Charlie Strand
