Tim, sorry to hear you don't have anything for your pain. It's torture. I you go back to some of the past postings on the mess. board you will find many that may be helpful. There are many treatments out there but the only way to know what will work for you is to get a good doc. to help you. Print up some of the messages that you find interesting and bring them to your doc. I use Imitrex nasal spray and the shots(they really aren't bad, very small needle, and works faster than anything I've used) Ive used O2 in the past, not this time yet. Indocin, Prednisone, Verapamil, sancert, ergot, antidepressants, are among a few I've seen here. My doc put me on a new med yesturday, Neurotin, I don't know if it is going to work. It is supposed to decrease the pain, tingling, and help you sleep. We'll see. Right now, arter two doses(2x a day) I'm very sleepy, dizzy, with a dull ache in the side of my head.
