You are correct about not all of them being bad. I should have just labeled it as Demerol - not narcotics. Our Dr. is a pain management specialist, and has been the best we could ask for. We have become friends with him, which has really helped. He is always there for us. When he found out about this site, he asked me to get all the information I could. He often will ask me what the latest is, and what else we can try. It's so great having someone that cares enough to say they don't know it all!
