At the beginning of the year, I lived in a different part of town and took my case to a hospital local to that area. I saw a doctor, was referred to neuro, and in the interim placed on "meds" ( the prednisone/sansert psychadelic cocktail ). By March I'd moved, my CH went into remission a bit, and, unwilling to miss any work days, rescheduled my neuro appointment for June 4. Missed that one too, figuring, what the heck, I'll enjoy good times while they're here.
Probably a good thing too, anyway.
Three weeks ago I made a trip to the ER; "Wanna see a neuro,please." Sorry- need a referral. Ok. Saw a doc, got three numbers, and the nearest appontment date is November. Screw that.
Tuesday:New clinic right on the corner of where I live.
Great.
"Got insurance?"
Yep. Here.
Ten minutes later-"Excuse me but this case, or card, is invalid."
"What!"
