Dear David & Folks: I'm in a long remission because of the depakote I take for my seizures and that I'm now 54. However, when I was diagnosed, my neurologist taught me a biofeedback technique that helped me a great deal. As they are vascular, I was told to "think" of forcing blood to flow from behind my throbbing eye, down my neck and into my arms and hands. As my hands warmed, the throbbing usually lessened. It takes INTENSE concentration and isn't perfect, but I was almost always able to get some relief during my attacks. Try to "feel" your hands warm with blood drawn down your neck from your skull and you should have some success. I learned this in 1972, if you can believe it and that's before there were many drugs for this terrible syndrome. I know many of you are skeptical but Dr. Wright was far from a crank, and what do we have to lose? It isn't a cure but it is something. PFDAN- - Charlie Strand
