I get ACHE's newsletters and they HAVE explained the difference in headache types. WHY DON'T DRS. READ THESE NEWSLETTERS? Also the National Headache Foundation has some research to back their findings.
I'm lucky that my drs. DO know I've got a problem, but the times I've had to go to ER it's been hell. We've just got to find a way to educate medical prof. in CH.
The last time I was in the hosp., an RN was going to give me DHE and Reglan IV together. That's a NO NO. If I hadn't known to stop her, I might not be here. She just didn't know and DIDN't bother to look it up. This ignorance is not only aggrivating it's dangerous.
