this was on TV a few days ago
I THINK it was a botulism toxin derivative
my wife, daughter of a surgeon, and a research biologist herself said only:
" oh, this one is REALLY over the top - how DARE they put something that general and unproven on
TV network news" I agree
anyway - it is my opinion that the biggest mistake we make is lumping "headache" diseases together - we need to learn about CLUSTER HEADACHE,
primary focus is what is gonna solve this thing
dashing off into all sorts of general conclusions and associations is actually the root of most problems in dealing with CH
I know that ANYTHING that sounds promising for ANYTHING vaguely related sounds like it's worth a try, but we are all way too familiar with the negative effects of being too indiscriminate in both what we accept as knowledge, and what we try for treatment -
TRY TRY TRY to think about CH as though no other head pain malady existed - that will clear the agenda and clean up the data flow, which is the only path to real solutions
this is only MY opinion, but it's based on 28 years of these SOBs, the first 10 of which WERE devoted to grasping at any straw that floated by, and continuingly increasing agony -
in recent years, the more I focus on demanding CLUSTER HEADACHE SPECIFIC data & results, from PRIMARY sources, and using some degree of discipline in working out my coping strategies, the less total pain I end up suffering (talking running average, over time)
