You / We are cluster heads. It does not mean that we as individuals are defined by that description but it is a very big part of our identity.
When a cure is found for us ALL, then we will all re-invent ourselves as so called normal people do through out their lives also.
Just because we put up with all the CRAP that goes with CH's does not mean that we like it.
It means that we are strong people who keep getting kicked in the teeth, but get straight back up again and carry on.
Like you said Geo, if you had not had CH's you would not care about us banging on about the pain we are in - you would not understand.
But as a group of poor, sadly afflicted individuals we are the most compassionate people anybody will ever meet.
I would not wish CH's on anyone, not even someone I hated, but you imagine the depth of feeling that you now posses through having CH's.
If someone is in pain we all understand instantly whether it is physical pain or emotional. That is what CH's have done to us - the pain is Awful but I think we have also taken a beautiful gift
from the pain and made it so special it is wonderful.
So I am sorry Geo but I do not think we have resigned ourselves to being "sick" or "popping pills", but we have ALL changed into strong courageous people with a great depth of compassion for all mankind.
