Just had to put my 2 cents worth in on this. I was chronic for 17 years. Had the surgery. However, while I was still having CH, I had a huge change in my eyes. Mainly the CH side. Was sent to a retina specialist who said that I had scars on the retina caused by medication. That was in 1978. In 1990, I was diagnosed as having Retinits Pigmentosa (RP)(Tunnel Vision) and am legally blind. January 1998, I went to Johns Hopkins for an RP evaluation. The specialist I saw had obtained my actual test from 1978. I did not have scars on the retina, I had RP.
I am not the first person with CH, Horners Syndrome and RP together and this researcher believes there is a link betwee my RP and my CH. One day maybe it will be proven.
