My husband has been suffering from cluster headaches now for well over 10 years. He seems to go through two clusters per year (starting in the spring - and lasting several weeks) and maybe a few months later (also, lasting several weeks). My husband refuses to go to the Doctor to get any meds since he does not want it known that he suffers from this in case we ever need to reapply for health insurance. Is there any medication and/or treatment we could benefit from without the help of a Doctor? Also, I am brand new to this website so perhaps you can also let me know which medication is the best one to start with? I see that oxygen inhalers and Imitrex are mentioned quite often. Please let us!!!!!
