Hello,
I am currently 6 weeks into my yearly series which normally lasts 6 to 8 weeks. I am a Imitrex injection user, I discovered Imitrex 3 years ago and it changed my life - I went from Percodan junkie to a human being. I have tried nasal and pills but they don't seem to work for me. This series has been very bad, I am on the edge....My question is I have had huge problem with my insurance company Principal health care. I have been with Blue Cross in the past with no problems.
With Principal they had refused to pay for all but the most minuminm amount of Imitrex. I have spend hours on the phone with them, my doctor has called to explain "special circumstances" - they say they will remove the amount restrictions but never do. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on my Imitrex this series, does anyone have any advise?
Thank you
Jim
