Before I go, I just wanted to touch on a couple of things about the new medication survey.
Alot of you have sent me emails telling me about which medications have worked for you battling "the beast".
Please try to understand that there is no way for me to add each and every medication that has worked for everyone out there. I tried to add the "front-line" medications for treating clusters. New, and other medications can be added to a new survey someday in the future (with your help).
What I was trying to get at when I built the survey is giving the new sufferer, or someone looking for a new line of attack, something to try. And, with just over 300 sufferers filling out the survey, it looks like Imitrex (Imigran) injections and Oxygen are the big winners as abortives. Verapamil and Prednisone are big winners as far as preventatives go.
As more and more people who've "been there, done that" fill in the survey, I hope the information will be usefull.
