i just started topamax today 8/31/00. this is the schedule that my doctor has me on
15 mg 1xday for 1 wk
15 mg 1xtwice day for 1 wk
15 mg 2 am 1 pm for 1 wk
15 mg 2 am 2 pm for 1 wk
i am currently taking depakote for generalized complex seizure disorder with cronic migraines. the depakote did wonders with the migraines and somewhat controlled my aura's but has caused havac on my endrocrine system after 1 year of taking this drug. my doctor is keeping me on the depakote while my system is adjusting to the topamax. i am glad to hear that it has helped with your headaches, nothing is worse than a constant headache/migraine, there are quite a few of us out there with this.
