i also go through the mood swings and weight gain, but with results. the pred works pretty good for me. i would suggest however, that if you're not getting the results to look for other treatments. plenty of options on the board. you don't want to be tied to prednisone, especially if you gain weight anything like me (up to 10 lbs a week)what are you taking for the incidental attacks? i've got cafergot for the ones that sneak past the 'roids, but cafergot's another one you don't wan't to get attached to.
