Hello,
This is my first post and I have to admit... kind of scary. I've visited the website, my Dr. suggested it and was surprised to find so many others. Laure, I was told 12 yrs ago I had "sinus headaches" partly because I can tell when a low is on the way and can tell you if it's here before I open my eyes in the morning. As a teen I had migraines and was treated but after the sinus diagnosis I just let it go and figured it was my "lot in life". I finally went to the Dr. a few months back and said do something or I want drugs. Last week I called his office to tell him I loved him. We tried a couple of rx's that didn't work and then the Imitrex. I guess you guys know exactly how I felt when it worked. I tried the injectible yesterday and 17 min later I was ok. I've got one now and am out of Imitrex but will get some more this afternoon. I do have a question, I'm trying to decide whether the injectable or tablets will be more cost effective for me as I get these freguently... epidsodic not cronic... I've had a couple of good months but they are coming back again... sort of like the swallows in Capistrano... anyway I see they have the single dose vials in 5 packs and understand that one might be able to use as little as 2 mg to stop one... does anyone have experience with this? Thanks for answering.
