After 4 nights of relief three weeks ago (I assume from the Verapamil) they canme back, stronger and more often than ever...The Imatrex inhalers are still working, though now I am going through 2-3 a day, and a box of six isn't as reassuring as it was a month ago. I am seven weeks into this cycle, and am getting really depressed again, and am losing tons of sleep (nothing new to a lot of you I know).
I never used Imatrex until this cycle, and am worried about it's affect as I am using it so often. My Neuro/pain Dr. will no doubt try something else than verapamil. Now that the attacks are happening during the daytime too (at work), I don't have the oxygen to help the Imatrex along...and it seems to take 1/2 hr before any relief is felt.
I don't even know why I am writing this
I know you people care, but most of you are sufferers as well, and that provides little solice any more.
At least I have the Imatrex for now...just picked up the last refill on my inhaler perscrip....also have a perscrip for the injectors, but even with a refill, its only good for 4 attacks...barely two days worth.
God I hope it's not turning chronic. I really don't think I could live with that hanging over my every thought and action.
Sinuses are tight right now, and the twinges are beginning...maybe I can hold it off another hour or two with some more coffee.
God help all of you
Dan
