The only long term effects I've had from Imigran/
Imitrex have been positive!
Having had one to two injections (and sometimes more-
tell it not to the doctors!) almost every day for
two and a half years, I may get hacked off with them,
but I least I have a life. When I compare that with
how I was in the year before I tried them, I know
which I prefer.
So, don't be put off by any scare stories - remember
more people are harmed by the headaches (as we all
tragically know from comments here) than are hurt
by the drugs. Don't let worry enter into the equation
too.
If I believed in something to say prayers to, the
man from Glaxo Wellcome would be at the top of my
list!
