To Dennis and everyone, I seem to be noticing in some of the postings that we are all WAITING for 20 min to 1hr before we treat the pain. Why do we do this to ourselves? I'm also guilty. My DR posed this question to me just the other day. If you have something that works, use it,and get to it quickly. I told her that it's hard to know if the cluster is really going to last more than 20 min or so. We are concerned about taking medication if it is going to go away soon. She looked at me as if I had two heads. WHY would you do that to yourself? She couldn't believe that if the pain was that bad anyone could wait that long. After that visit I decided to just take the Imitrex at the first sign. Wow! What a difference. Boy was I dumb. Any others out there?
