James, I have a friend that had RF for Trigeminal Neuralgia. Her eye was numb and the cornea was damaged because of the numbness. She had to have her eye stitched closed because of all the numbness, couldn't feel if anything got in the eye and it no longer lubricate itself.
I forget the ratio that this can happen to with the RF procedure. What I understand you can stay pain free for about a year.
She is also numb one side of her mouth and one side of the nose, so she never knows when her nose is running or food running out her mouth. She said she would take this over the pain!
