In most situations I inject on the upper end of outer side of my leg, there are spots there where I barely feel the prick of the needle. When at work, I inject in my forearm, between wrist and elbow, the skin there is tough and closes up well after. I have to be careful not to hit a vein there, though. When I have hit a vein, all I noticed was that the attack was gone in about 30 seconds! I inject directly from the syringe, I don't use the auto-injector, and use only a 1/2 dose. I would hate to find what a full dose would do, intravenously, it would probably blow my head off or something.
Imitrex has always worked 100% for me. For that I am grateful.
