Holly, First...congratulations on being so supportive of your husband. Clusters definitely impact the whole family. Unfortunately, depression can become part of the syndrome with the prolonged pain. Like Bob mentioned, many antidepressants are used for the treatment of both migraines and clusters. These drugs work in many different ways. Elavil (amitriptyline), Sinequan (Doxepin), Prozac, are just a few. Being antidepressants make them an extra added bonus of sorts. I wish you both the best, irene
