I got some e-mails asking if I was Stephen King?!?! I'm more than flattered but I'm just a mom from NJ, a sales rep for an entertainment company. The closest I've ever came to Stephen King was watching "The Stand" on tv!
Speaking of him though, I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find out he suffers from migraines. I read "The Dead Zone" many years ago. Some of his vivid descriptions of headaches sounds all to familiar.
Writing these stories is just my way of dealing with my pain and frustration. There is a mixed blessing to having people who love you nearby during an episode. I carry much guilt as a Mom for the moments these episodes have taken away from my daughter. She has seen me too many times, out of control, and it frightened her. I arm her with information from the board and I let her read what I've written in hopes she understands.
If I ramble in my essays...please forgive me. It's just cheap, harmless therapy.
