I'm a long time clusterhead (51 years give or take) so I guess I'm living proof that the beast won't kill you. I'm an advocate of oxygen to abort the thing, works for many of us in 5 to 10 minutes if done right. Verapamil is relatively safe, it's used to lower blood pressure and BP should be monitored. Imitrex can be dangerous, ie hard on the cardio-vascular system but if it aborts the CH, why not. But do look into oxygen if you haven't yet. It has been my godsend for over 15 years and no side effects when done right. Oh yeah, sorry to welcome you to the family.
