That question is up for grabs right now. SOME people do have food triggers (sounds like you'd better find a substitute for Chinese - how do you fell about Italian?) And then SOME don't. Once I had a headache after Chinese - but only once. I've eaten a truck load since with NO problems. Alcohol and cigarettes - same thing. When I was episodic, between bouts I could drink with no problem. Haven't tried it in several years (it's just not worth it and it don't mix with meds).
I know you're like the rest of us, LOOKING for a REASON, but everyone has different triggers, and we all have to find ours. You'd better stay away from Chinese for a while - or you could ask for them to leave OFF the msg. Most places around here can do that.
