Perfect place to have found to vent my frustrations after 4 weeks of clusters and quite exhausted....off to some unidentified neurololigist tomorrow ...to tell me what??? no known cause...no known cure...I haven't had a headache for 2 and a half days......such release...but dreading the onset ...praying for release as I look after my 3 yr old with no family support from either side....try explaining to a 3 yr old that you can't debate an issue... no energy as your head is exploding...no patience left...mummy is not herself right now and please try to understand....calling frantically to childcare agencies for help...just temporarily until my life is in order again...and getting replies...$500 to place the person then the fees per day....there is noone to drive me to hospital to get on the oxygen that seems to help...the injections seem to work until the next headache....Don't take too much Imigran...stagger around in the night on your own.....get up in the morning after 3 attacks during the night and be the smiling mother you are meant to be....as your child starts demanding their needs and there is noone to pass them to.....Remembering that this is temporary and knowing it will pass......finding inner strength...telling friends that you are self injecting each day and they have no idea what you are experiencing.....so many know what a migraine is like and so few have ever heard of cluster headaches...I am so pleased to read that so many afflicted people have someone THERE for them....it is at least something in amongst the pain. It is so frightening and moreso on your own....that is it...I could be tempted to go on and on but now I feel better i got it out....thanks and bye
