It is after midnight, we just got home tonight and I just finished reading all the posts about the convention. It was SO GREAT!!! Couldn't wait to get home and check out the site. Warren and I had a great time - it was wonderful to meet everyone - we now have new friends all over the world. Warren even got to meet DJ's mom on the phone. Thanks Bob P. so much for all your work on the convention and the t-shirts - Thanks D.J. for starting all this. We got back to Vancouver on Monday, and then went on Tuesday to see a neurologist at Vancouver General Hospital who is a headache specialist. He was great - he knew about OUCH and was very interested in the convention. He gave Warren 3 new prescriptions - injectible DHE, Oxygen, and Topomax. He says he has had lots of success with the Topomax. I asked him how many CH patients he had, and he said "Dozens" from all over British Columbia. So we will get the prescriptions filled, and be ready for next cycle - usually starts in September. Maybe we will be lucky and it will be late!! Anyhow, thanks to everyone who did anything to make the OUCH 2000 convention happen - we feel it was a great success!! Can't wait for next year.
