I get my little humidifier from the local med supply house...5 whole dollars
It simply screws on the bottom of the regulator and the hose squeezes on the nipple....yea I know.
Keepin the water clean is an issue. Just change it a lot....how often?...how longs a stick? If my tank sits in my air conditioned living room...I don't change it for 3 or 4 days. If I carry it with me and it sits in the truck in the south Texas heat and humidity...I change it when I get home. Drinking stale water is one thing...breathin it is awhole nother ball of wax. I got enough micro-ogasms as is.
I addressed the "what kinda H2O?" issue a while back and the responses from our friends Euli, Riccardo, the E-mailable but invisible Gary G and others plus an internet search has led me to the opinion "I will not use lake water!" All of the parts on my humidifier are plastic which rules out the prolems associated with distilled water and metal parts. All of this is only my opinion...I am not a doctor..although I do play God now and then.
You know where to walk
