OK, everyone get busy - WRITE CONGRESS. If they get bombarded with letters e-mails and phone calls - hey- it's election year! Let Mr. Gore and Mr. Bush know about CLUSTERS! They both have e-mail addresses. They've both got about 60 million - let them spend a little of it talking to US!
I agree with Terry - talk to your STATE senators and congressmen. We'll get a lot further that way. If they know you can VOTE for them, they'll come closer listening to you.
Another thing I've found is that if you can get hold of the RIGHT aide in their office, you can get something done. This may come as a shock, but the big guys don't do much, but the aides do. Call the offices and ASK who takes care of the senators or congressmen getting publicity out with non-profit groups such as OUCH, then get hold of that AIDE and talk to them up close and personal. They usually want something in writing about our group (addressed to the big guy but to their attention). It's an idea.
