The only thing we ask of new folks is to check out the entire site before posting. That's asked so we don't have to witness, once again, someone making a fool of "him"self.
Guilt trips aside... did you really feel like you were on one? ... we are in Cluster Headache Awareness Week. There is a lot of information that you can be sending out right now. Or did you just come here to find a chat board and bitch about a condition while doing nothing about it? And then going further by saying nothing is being done. Take 1-5 minutes to read this site and you'll understand that this isn't just an "Oh poor me" site. as you so evidently need. You'll see that it IS a tool for public education.
And you are very right. It doesn't hit people like a flashing ad. Thank you DJ for not making this suh a sell-out site and keeping it in the realm of what you wanted. Thank you also for making this site the very first one come upon when someone does a search on CHs. That's more tactful and more credible then a flashing ad.
OK. Now my editing habits are coming out. When you change targets of your attack you have to be the first to acknowledge it. The proper way to do that is to address the next person that you have a problem with. His name is Todd. You make a good point though. 36 million potential customers is nothing a pharmacutical company would look at. At a few hundred bucks a pop, we're only discussing multiple billions of dollars there, aren't we? What kind of company is looking for that chump change?
You make a great point about getting on 20/20 glorifies whining. As a matter of fact, your irony does not lose it's value on me. I see how your whining on this major site was supposed to exemplify your very point. Very clever indeed. Your whining is duly noted.
