i've had cluster headaches for 20 years on and off.Everything for cluster headaches i have tried. i have tried oxygen at 8% with vents on the side of the mask sealed, helped sometime but not all of the time. Imigran injections good but only allowed 2 injections in a 24 hour period as i have more than 2 headaches in a 24hour period. So i have to use the oxygen to try and compensate at times when i can't take an injection. i am taking gabapentin 600mg , 4 times a day my headaches stopped for 18months but they don't seem to be working to good this time?
Verapamil i have not tryed because you are not allowed to take with blood pressure tablets i have tried imigran nasal spray, wasn't too bad. Imigran tablets no good the doctor said i could try a type of wafer that you put under your tongue, i do not know the name of it. but i will find out at the next visit to the doctors.
Can you give me any helpful advice as i have been suffering this pain for the last 6 weeks? as to many injections give you pains in your chest
