My prayers and thoughts are with you and your husband. I had read your previous post about the weekend from hell. I've experienced those hellish episodes many times over throughout these past 25 years, and know what it's nothing short of war with the aftermath every bit as devastating. God bless you both.
As for Oprah, I don't think we should pin our hopes to this woman or her show. It's about ratings, selling books and the glorification of "The Oprah" as far as I'm concerned. The only slight possibility of having the subject of clusters on her show is if someone's selling a book about it. I wrote several angry letters to Oprah a few months back, when she had a woman who called herself a "Para-Physician" (one who could know your disease from asking your first name and birthdate, and then suggest a cure via unearthing a pyschological reason for the disease)on her show. The woman also happened to be selling a book. Oprah did a HUGE disservice to the many who suffer from fibromyalgia (a painful, debilitating malady from which I also suffer) by giving credence to this woman's voo doo healing, and the assumption that every disease is psychologically born. I'd hate to see what she'd do with clusters. I'd rather see the subject broached on a show like 20/20 or Primetime.
I will continue praying for you both, and hope that some pain free times are fast approaching.
