I too totally disagree with neuron. I have seen the horrific pain my husband goes through EVERYDAY of his life. AMEN to you Barbara - my husband doesn't have "rebounds" - after spending a year of his life bedridden taking non narc meds and also (later) spending a week getting "detoxicified". If there was a med that would help - then he would not take narcotics. If only one day you could go through what he does, you would change your mind - I'm sure of that. Without them, I KNOW he would not be with me today because blowing his head off would finally bring total relief.
