My nuerologist has put me on topomax in April 2000. Dr Coni has put me on 75mg to start in the a.m. and also in the p.m. with a gradual increase every two to three weeks. Eventually he will have me up to 200mg in the a.m. and in the p.m. I have noticed that my migraines are not as severe as they were, they were so bad to the extent that I was being hospitalized for days at a time but since the use of topomax my time spent in the hospital emergency dept has also dropped dramatically so yes I would say topomax works!!
