I read your reply to CH MIGS in 1999. Could you help me determine if my headaches are clusters? I have had symptoms for 5 weeks now of nausea, dizziness, and severe headaches. The pain is on the left side of my head. It seems to stem from the lower back of my head, over my left ear and behind my left eye. My left eye has a cold and sometimes tearing sensation during these headaches. The headaches last about 3 to 5 hours. I have had one to three spells a day with nausea and dizziness sometimes before, during and after the pain seeming like it lasts forever. I took a trip to the E.R. and received toradol I.V. I had taken 800mg Motrin prior and when the pain did not subside 325mg percocet also did not seem to dull the pain. I am very tired after the HA spell and lately seem to be tired all of the time . I have a hard time getting to sleep since the headaches seem to be worse at bedtime. I feel better in the recliner. I don't know if it is the upright position or my imagination. I have seen a neurologist and been diagnosed with migraines and put on a migraine preventative called Depakote. I hope this information will tell a complete story... Thanks!
